Dominance v bezpilotní kategorii v Itálii! 🇮🇹 V celkovém hodnocení jsme se umístili na prvním místě v driverless třídě a po sečtení bodů i na prvním místě ve skupině elektrických a zároveň bezpilotních formulí. 🏎️ Ve statických disciplínách jsme také dosáhli pódia - obsadili jsme druhé místo za driverless cost, z driverless design event si neseme domů další stříbrnou medaili a v disciplíně electric vehicle design event jsme na třetím místě. Zakončili jsme tak sezónu pořádným úspěchem a motivací posouvat hranice ještě dál. 🚀

Domination of the driverless category in Italy! 🇮🇹 In the overall evaluation, we took first place in the driverless class and, after adding up the points, first place in the electric and driverless formula group. 🏎️ In the static disciplines we also reached the podium - we took second place for driverless cost, we take home another silver medal from the driverless design event and we are in third place in the electric vehicle design event. We ended the season with a great success and motivation to push the boundaries even further. 🚀

Poslední den závodů v Itálii je za námi! 🇮🇹 Dokončili jsme poslední dynamické disciplíny, jmenovitě endurance, driverless autocross a trackdrive. Během driverless disciplín nás zasáhl déšť, ale statečně jsme se s oběma disciplínami vypořádali i v náročném počasí. 🌧 Úspěšně jsme tak zakončili sezónu 2024 závody, na kterých jsme dojeli všechny disciplíny bez komplikací a teď už upínáme náš zrak na následující rok a výzvy, které nám přinese. 👀

The last day of racing in Italy is over! 🇮🇹 We have finished the last dynamic disciplines, namely endurance, driverless autocross and trackdrive. During the driverless disciplines we were hit by rain, but we managed to complete both disciplines in the challenging weather. 🌧 We successfully finished the 2024 season with a race where we finished all the disciplines without any complications and now we have our eyes set on the next year and the challenges it will bring. 👀

4. den soutěže Formula Student v Itálii jsme téměř celý strávili na trati - hned ráno jsme nastoupili na akceleraci a do oběda jsme stihli ještě skidpad, který odjeli oba naši jezdci dvakrát. 🏎 Odpoledne následoval autocross, kde jsme si otestovali nastavení na zítřejší endurance a den jsme zakončili driverless skidpadem, který jsme zajeli v úžasném čase. 🚀 Poslední den nás čeká endurance, driverless autocross a trackdrive.

Day 4 of the Formula Student competition in Italy was mostly spent on the track - we started the acceleration first thing in the morning and by lunchtime we managed to finish the skidpad, which both of our drivers ran twice. 🏎 In the afternoon followed the autocross, where we tested our setup for tomorrow's endurance and we finished the day with a driverless skidpad, where we scored an amazing time. 🚀 For the last day we have endurance, driverless autocross and trackdrive on our list.

Hektický třetí den je za námi. Započal dvěma

Hektický třetí den je za námi. Započal dvěma brake testy, jak s pilotem, tak bez. Oba jsme úspěšně zvládli a dojeli.💪 Poté následoval čas na test tracku, kde jsme si vyzkoušeli pneumatiky a najeli tak první kilometry na této trati. Odpoledne pak bylo vyplněno statickými disciplínami - cost manufacturing a engineering design, kde jsme před rozhodčími prezentovali celkový návrh našeho vozu a financování. Dále následovala bezpilotní akcelerace, jakožto poslední disciplína dne, kterou jsme dokázali zajet za 3,92 sekundy. 🚀 Večer se k nám dostalo oficiální oznámení, že jsme se probojovali do finále v engineering designu, což se nám podařilo už třetí závody po sobě. 🥳 Velice se těšíme na další dny, kdy už na nás čekají jenom dynamické disciplíny.

The hectic third day is over. It started with two brake tests, with and without the pilot. We passed both of them and finished successfully.💪 Then followed the time on the test track, where we tested the tires and drove the first kilometers on this track. The afternoon was then filled with static disciplines - cost and engineering design, where we presented our overall car design and funding to the judges. The last discipline was the driverless acceleration, which we managed to complete in 3.92 seconds. 🚀 In the evening, we received the official announcement that we had made it to the finals in engineering design, which we did for the third consecutive race. 🥳 We are very much looking forward to the next days, when only dynamic disciplines await us.

Druhý den závodu Formula Student v Itálii jsme odstartovali přejímkou driverless části našeho vozu. Vše bylo v pořádku a přesunuli jsme se tak na tilt test, který pro nás nebyl žádnou výzvou a zdolali jsme ho na první pokus. 💪 Zároveň probíhala prezentace business plánu 👩‍💼🧑‍💼 pro elektrickou i nepilotovanou skupinu. Teď už se připravujemena další den, kdy budeme pokračovat ve statických disciplínách a začneme i s dynamickými. 🏎💨

On the second day of the Formula Student race in Italy, we started with the inspection of the driverless part of our car. Everything was fine and we moved on to the tilt test, which was no challenge for us and we passed it on the first attempt. 💪 At the same time we were presenting the business plan 👩‍💼🧑‍💼 for the electric and driverless group. Now we are preparing for the next day when we will continue with static disciplines and start with dynamic ones. 🏎💨

První den letošního ročníku FSAE ATA se nesl

První den letošního ročníku FSAE ATA se nesl v duchu přejímek. Na seznamu nás od rána čekala příprava pitu, následovala elektrická a mechanická přejímka, doplněná o egress test. Den jsme nakonec zakončili rain testem 🌧, který jsme úspěšně absolvovali. Nasledující den nás čeká driverless přejímka a prezentace business plánu, který odstartuje statické disciplíny. 💪

The first day of this year's FSAE ATA was in the spirit of inspections. Preparing the pit, electrical and mechanical inspections with egress test were on the list for the day. Finally, we ended the day with a rain test 🌧, which we successfully passed. Driverless inspection and a business plan presentation to kick off the static disciplines await us the following day. 💪

Jsme celkově 3. na FSG—nejprestižnější inženýrské soutěži na světě!

Po neuvěřitelném týdnu, kdy jsme museli dvakrát cestovat zpět do Prahy na dílnu, téměř jsme nespali a ani nestihli vypít všechny sudy piva, které jsme si přivezli, je náš úspěch opravdovým důkazem neuvěřitelného odhodlání každého člena týmu na FSG, ale i ostatních členů týmu po celý rok.
Celkově jsme získali 771,29 bodů. Gratulujeme týmu @amzracing k celkovému vítězství na FSG a také týmu z @fsteamtallinn k druhé pozici, na které se umístil těsně před námi.

We are 3rd OVERALL at FSG—the most competitive engineering event in the world!

After an extraordinary week that saw us make two trips back to Prague to reinforce parts of our car, endure little to no sleep, and not even finish all the beer we brought, our achievement stands as a testament to the incredible determination of every team member at FSG. We also owe a huge thanks to those who supported us back in Prague at the workshop whenever it was needed. This success is a reflection of the hard work and dedication of everyone involved!
Overall, we scored 771.29 points. Congratulations to @amzracing on winning FSG and to @fsteamtallinn for pushing us to the limit and securing second place just ahead of us.

Jsme na 3. místě v disciplíně Engineering Desi

Jsme na 3. místě v disciplíně Engineering Design Event (EDE)! 🥉

Ačkoli jsme toto ocenění obdrželi již v sobotu, podle nás si zaslouží samostatný příspěvek. V tvrdé konkurenci špičkových týmů z Curychu, Aachenu, Karlsruhe, Stuttgartu, Trondheimu a Montrealu, při kterém nás hodnotilo více než sto odborných porotců, jsme se umístili na 3. místě z konkurence 80 týmů z celého světa. Toto ocenění dokazuje výjimečnost našeho konstrukčního návrhu vozu a také oddanost, kterou jsme do našeho projektu vložili. Jsme nesmírně hrdí na tento úspěch!

Although we received this award on Saturday, we think it deserves a spotlight of its own. In a fiercely competitive field of top teams from Zurich, Aachen, Karlsruhe, Stuttgart, Trondheim, and Montreal PT, and evaluated by over a hundred expert judges, our car concept truly stood out. This recognition highlights the exceptional design and innovation that went into our project. We couldn’t be prouder of this achievement!

Poslední den se konal závod Endurance. Po sobotn

Poslední den se konal závod Endurance. Po sobotním umístění z autocrossu jsme měli přidělenou jízdu v odpoledním bloku. Dopoledne byla trať z velké části suchá, a proto se většina týmů rozhodla vyjet na suché sadě pneumatik. Těsně před začátkem naší jízdy však Hockenheim zasáhla silná přeháňka, která přinutila všechny přezout na mokrou sadu pneumatik.
Navzdory náročným podmínkám si naši piloti hladce poradili s kluzkou vozovkou a během 22 kilometrů trefili pouze pár kuželek. Úspěšně jsme odjeli vytrvalostní závod Endurance a také jsme prošli následnou kontrolou.
Ačkoli déšť ustal, trať byla stále mokrá pro finální pětku nejrychlejších formulí z autocrossu. Čtyři týmy se rozhodly pro suchou sadu pneumatik a následně měly tak velmi obtížné dosáhnout rychlejších časů. Toto podcenění podmínek na trati, tak zkušenými týmy, bylo pro většinu z nás nepochopitelné, ale hrálo nám to do karet.

On the last day, the Endurance race was on our schedule. After Saturday’s autocross run, we were lined up for the endurance event in the afternoon. The morning conditions were dry to slightly damp, so most teams used slick tires. However, just before our Endurance slot began, Hockenheim was hit by a heavy shower, which required everyone to switch to wet tires.
Despite the challenging conditions, our drivers had smooth runs, hitting only a few cones over the 22 kilometers. We successfully completed the Endurance race and also passed the post-scrutineering inspection.
Although the rain had stopped, the track remained damp for the final 5 fastest cars from autocross. This played in our favor, as four teams chose to use slick tires and found it extremely challenging to set faster laps under the still-wet conditions.

Šestý den jsme zahájili přípravou našeho voz

Šestý den jsme zahájili přípravou našeho vozu na autonomní trackdrive. Tato náročná disciplína vyžaduje, aby vůz dokončil 10 kol zcela samostatně, a to v co nejrychlejším čase. Trať byla stejná jako pro předchozí DV autocross. Naší formuli se povedlo zajet nejrychlejší kolo za 34,98 sekundy, zatímco nejrychlejší čas dne byl 29,36 sekundy. Bohužel, ve třetím kole vyjela formule mimo trať vyznačenou kuželky, což pro nás znamenalo DNF. Avšak nebyl čas se tím trápit, museli jsme se připravit na odpolední pilotovaný autocross. V této disciplíně jsme si vedli dobře, naši řidiči dosáhli nejlepšího času 82,27 sekundy, díky čemuž jsme si zajistili místo v odpoledním bloku v nedělním vytrvalostním závodě Endurance.
Večer jsme se zúčastnili prvního vyhlášení výsledků. Náš tým byl na pódiu oceněn 2. místem v rámci ceny Zeiss Real-Time Processing Award za náš bezpilotní systém.

On the sixth day, we started off our morning by preparing the car for the autonomous trackdrive. This challenging discipline requires the car to complete 10 laps entirely on its own, aiming for the fastest possible time. The track was the same as the one used for the previous DV autocross. Our car’s fastest lap was 34.98 seconds, while the best time of the day was 29.36 seconds. Unfortunately, our car went off track on the third lap, resulting in a DNF.
But there was no time to dwell on it, we had to get ready for the piloted autocross run in the afternoon. We did well in the piloted autocross, with our drivers having clean runs and achieving a fastest time of 82.27 seconds. That performance earned us a spot in Sunday’s Endurance race.
In the evening, we attended the first awards ceremony. Our team was honored on stage with 2nd place for the Zeiss Real-Time Processing Award for our autonomous system.

Pátý den byl především o dynamických discipl

Pátý den byl především o dynamických disciplínách! Zúčastnili jsme se čtyř soutěží: DV Autocross, DV Akcelerace, Akcelerace v pilotovaném režimu, a pilotovaného Skidpadu. Ráno jsme začali DV akcelerací, kde náš vůz zajel čas 4,24 sekundy, a následně jsme při pilotované akceleraci dosáhli času 3,78 sekundy na 75metrové rovince. Pilotovaný skidpad jsme zvládli za 5,07 sekundy a den jsme zakončili autonomním autocrossem s časem 41,41 sekundy.
Tím ale náš den rozhodně nekončil. Postoupili jsme také do finále EDE, kde jsme se utkali s dalšími šesti týmy ve tříhodinovém finále, které hodnotilo více než sto porotců. Mezi více než 70 týmy jsme s hrdostí obsadili krásné 3. místo v disciplíně Engineering Design!🥉

Day 5 was all about hitting the track! We competed in four disciplines: DV Autocross, DV and piloted Acceleration, and piloted Skidpad. The day started off with DV acceleration, where our car clocked in at 4.24 seconds, followed by a 3.78-second run in the piloted acceleration. Our piloted skidpad was completed in 5.07 seconds, and we wrapped up with our autonomous autocross, finishing the track in 41.41 seconds.
But the day didn’t end there. We also made it to the EDE finals, competing against 6 other teams in a 3-hour session judged by over 100 experts. Out of more than 70 teams, we proudly finished 3rd in Engineering Design!🥉
