The event began with a press conference, where both teams of student formulas presented the innovations of monoposts and the course of the racing season to representatives of major industrial companies that are partners of these projects. This season, our team won the second place from the international Formula Student Czech Republic races and the CTU CarTech team won two podium places, reaching 1st place at FS Czech races and 3rd place in Italy. The press conference was also attended by the Dean of the Faculty of Electrical Engineering, prof. Mgr. Petr Páta, Ph.D., and the Dean of the Faculty of Mechanical Engineering prof. Ing. Michael Valasek, DrSc. The Rector of CTU doc. RNDr. Vojtech Petracek, CSc. This year, our team received support for the next season from the Faculty of FEE and the Czech Technical University, which we greatly appreciate.
During the day, we presented the technical solutions of the monopost at our stand and tried to present our team to the most potential candidates who would like to join our ranks and work with us on new monoposts for the upcoming season. The main attraction of the event were regular rides of both formulas and motorbikes in front of the Faculty of Mechanical and Electrical Engineering. Our important partners were also present at the event.
We would like to thank all who came to see the event for a pleasant atmosphere and a wonderful day of a dry day. Big thanks also go to all supporters from the ranks of industrial companies and CTU, because mainly thanks to their support we can gain valuable experience and personal growth in the eForce electric formula project.
