We have completed the final race of this season in beautiful Italy, where we placed first overall in both the autonomous (DV) category and the combined electric and autonomous category (EV + DV). In the electric category, we managed to secure fifth place.
Formula SAE Italy is a student engineering competition first held in 2005, and regularly attended by teams from the Czech Technical University (CTU). The current venue for the competition is the Riccardo Paletti di Varano ’de Melegari circuit.
We secured first place in all dynamic autonomous disciplines, namely Acceleration, Skid Pad, Trackdrive, and Autocross. In the static disciplines, we advanced to the finals in the Engineering Design Event (EDE) and the Cost and Manufacturing (CaM) discipline, bringing home a silver medal from both .

We had a great performance in the electric category of the competition, finishing in fifth place in the longest discipline, Endurance. We also secured second place in Efficiency and sixth place in the Skid Pad discipline. Our greatest success came in the Engineering Design Event, where we achieved third place. It was already the third time for us in the Engineering Design finals this season!

During the competition, we faced many challenges, particularly due to the unpredictable weather—wet conditions accompanied us even in the final decisive disciplines.
A total of 36 teams participated in the electric category. From this category, we earned 710.161 points out of a possible 1000. In the autonomous section, we scored 968.026 points, which is over 550 points more than the team in second place.
With this competition, we closed a highly successful 2024 season—one of the most successful in the history of both of the former teams. We demonstrated to everyone that despite the organizational challenges of merging two former student teams (CTU CarTech and eForce FEE Prague Formula) and introducing a completely new vehicle concept, we are capable of competing with top teams from around the world.
