FSE.08
For the 2019 season, the team introduced significant upgrades to its monopost, FSE.08, focusing on mechanical improvements. A new monocoque design allowed for the integration of an optimized battery system with improved cooling, promising better performance in Endurance. The monocoque also features enhanced aerodynamic efficiency, making room for a diffuser. Together with a redesigned rear wing, this setup achieves more balanced pressure distribution, increased downforce, and improved aerodynamic performance.
The wheel assembly and axles also saw notable updates. Among the most significant changes was the switch to Hoosier tires and lightweight magnesium rims from O.Z. Racing, improving handling and performance.On the electrical side, the team refined telemetry systems, including traction control adjustments and precise measurements of the car’s inertial point. Reliability improvements to the cable harnesses and battery were also key to ensuring consistent performance.
