CTU.25

CTU.25 is a fully electric all-wheel-drive formula car with autonomous driving capability, powered by four independently controlled electric motors with electronic torque vectoring and a next-generation high-voltage battery pack.

One of the key innovations is a newly developed battery pack with a maximum recuperation power of 130 kW and a weight of 39 kg, representing an 8 kg reduction compared to the previous generation. Additional innovations include air cooling for the motor inverter, a new generation of the team’s in-house CAN converter, and a wireless data acquisition system. A newly designed steering wheel further reduces weight and improves ergonomics.

The aerodynamic package generates more than 300 kg of downforce at 100 km/h, a significant increase compared to the 226 kg produced by CTU.24. The system also features DRS, which reduces aerodynamic drag by 30% on straights.

During the 2025 season, the team confirmed its ability to remain among the world’s top university teams. One of the season’s highlights was a 3rd place finish in the Driverless category at the prestigious Formula Student Germany competition. CTU.25 therefore represents another step in the team’s continued technical and competitive development.
